starting point & pick up:
Quito

DAY 1:
Arrival in Quito. Transfer to the hotel. Meet and greet your guide in the evening.

DAY 2:
RIDGE RUCU PICHINCHA (4.696 m). First going up with the TelefériQo, we start at approximately 4.100 m a 3-hour-tour to the summit. Difficulty up to grade 4 as per UIAA scale.

DAY 3:
We leave Quito in the morning and drive to the Natural Reserve Los Ilinizas. From the parking area we hike up to the Refugio Nuevos Horizontes (3 - 4 hours), where we will spend the night.

DAY 4:
Early wake up and breakfast. Ascent via the RIDGE to ILINIZA NORTE (5.126 m). 4-hour-tour to the summit with difficulty up to grade 6 as per UIAA scale. Descent to Refugio Nuevos Horizontes.

DAY 5:
Early wake up and breakfast. Ascent to ILINIZA SUR (5.246 m). 4 to 5-hour-tour to the summit in rock and ice. Descent to El Chaupi, where we will spend the night.

DAY 6:
We drive to Cayambe, up to the Refugio Ruales Oleas Berge. No strenuous activities on day 6. Time for rest and exploring the surroundings. Early dinner and rest.

DAY 7:
Early wake up and breakfast. Ascent to CAYAMBE (5.790 m), which takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. Descent to the hut and drive to Baños de Agua Santa.

DAY 8:
Rock climbing or eco hike in Baños - half day program. The other half day is for exploring Baños and resting a bit for example in its nice hot springs.

DAY 9:
We drive to the Reserva de Producción de Fauna Chimborazo and hike up to our base camp on approximately 5.100 m (5 to 6 hours). There we spend the night in tents.

DAY 10:
Early wake up and breakfast. Ascent to CHIMBORAZO via the SOUTH FACE (6.310 m) which takes approximately 8 to 9 hours. Descent to Riobamba, where we spend the night.

DAY 11:
Relaxing morning, visit of the markets of Riobamba. Return to Quito and "good bye".
